“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” becomes the latest video game in development to be delayed. The game focuses on fan-favorite DC Universe villains was originally slated to launch in 2022.
Rocksteady Studios creative director Sefton Hill announced the change in the “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” release window on Twitter. The announcement came with a short video showing the characters grunting in frustration, seemingly mirroring how the developers think some fans would react to the news.
“I know a delay is frustrating, but that time is going into making the best game we can,” Hill said. “I look forward to bringing the chaos to Metropolis together.” “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” is now scheduled to launch in the spring of 2023. The developer did not provide a specific release date, but a spring launch in the video game industry typically lands sometime between late March to June.
Most fans were understanding about the delay, noting that added time for development should give the studio more time to polish “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.” But others also pointed out that the delay meant it would be roughly eight years since they last saw a new game released by Rocksteady. The studio is best known for working on the “Batman: Arkham” series that had its latest mainline installment in 2015.
That will be 8 years since we have had a full game release from @RocksteadyGames. In the meantime could you please atleast release an enhancement patch for Batman Arkham Knight on PS5/Xbox Series X for higher resolution and 60fps?

As the title suggests, DC’s super-criminals will be front and center in the upcoming game. But earlier teasers heavily hinted at “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” set in the same timeline as the “Batman: Arkham” series plot. The upcoming game is essentially a spiritual successor to Rocksteady’s popular game series as the story will follow the events of “Batman: Arkham Knight.”
“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” is also expected to show Amanda Waller assembling the titular band of super-criminals that have gained more fans in recent years through movies. In the game, they become unlikely heroes to save the Earth from the havoc caused by Brainiac-controlled members of the Justice League. So far, teasers have confirmed that the game will feature Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark.
