Stratis, a UK-based blockchain development platform, announced the release of alpha version of the Breeze Wallet on the BTC testnet.
Breeze Wallet is a platform that aims to leverage the privacy-focused Tumblebit technology. It is a proof of concept on the utilization of C# / .Net programming languages into cryptocurrencies, combined with the capabilities of Stratis blockchain platform.
“This marks a solid milestone in our roadmap towards releasing the full capabilities of the Breeze Wallet,” the official release stated. “We would appreciate the participation of our community in helping test and experience this release of the Breeze Wallet, so that we can take your observations into consideration.”
Written in C#, the Breeze Wallet is the first full SPV Wallet. The release of the initial version will execute test transactions with bitcoin on the BTC testnet. Also, the alpha-release will enable development team experts to gather information regarding user experience, issues and bugs in the Breeze Wallet, which will then be addressed before releasing a ready-for-production version.
“Leveraging advancements with Tumblebit technology, the Stratis development team continues to make advances in the integration of advanced features into the Breeze Wallet such as enhanced privacy and scalability capabilities, Proof of Stake, among others,” it added.
