“Stranger Things” season 4 got a “go ahead” signal from Netflix in September. Since then, there are many predictions and new updates about the sci-fi mystery drama and below are some cast addition news, plot details, theories and other spoilers to know.
The other Hawkins lab subjects are coming
Firstly, “Stranger Things” season 4 will reveal that aside from Eleven, there are at least 10 more kids who were tested at the dreadful Hawkins lab. The viewers will get to know the other subjects and they surely have their own special abilities as well.
In fact, a new subject already made an appearance in the third installment. It can be recalled that Kali Prasad (Linnea Berthelsen) was in the finale and she was also called Eight. Apparently, the subjects in the lab were given a number as names and Eleven could be an indication that there are nine more subjects to discover and they have yet to be introduced.
Is Hopper alive?
The biggest drama when season 3 ends was the fact that Hopper disappeared. It was believed that he died after he sacrificed himself so Joyce Byers played by Winona Ryder can seal the passageway that connects the real world and Upside Down.
According to Express, when “Stranger Things” season 4 arrives, the viewers are likely to see Hopper as well. This is because of the theory that he will be brought back through the combined abilities of Eleven and Kali.
It should also be noted that in the teaser for “Stranger Things” season 4, the words "We're not in Hawkins anymore" flashed up on the screen. With this, it could be right that the other subjects are coming and would be reunited with Eleven.
New characters update
TV Line reported that “Stranger Things” season 4 will introduce four new characters. It was said that the Duffer brothers, show creators, are searching for one adult and three teens for the show. They are looking to add all-male new characters and their roles may be connected to the season 3 storyline.
Finally, filming for “Stranger Things” season 4 will begin in January and predicted to air between December 2020 and January 2021.
