‘Stranger Things’ season 4: New cast addition predicted to shake up story plotlines and end the series

Stranger Things

“Stranger Things” season 4 is anticipated because it will reveal what really happened to sheriff Jim Hopper (David Harbour). He appeared to have died when the machine released overpowering energy that closed down the passage to the Upside Down. Joyce has no choice but to activate the machine so that the portal would close, even if Jim was still inside the glass chamber.

At the end of season 3, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) did not see Hopper coming out of the building, but with Joyce crying and looking at her, she understood that he is gone. They succeeded in the battle with the dark forces, but she was devastated that her father figure did not make it.

Recap

In the last episode of “Stranger Things” season 2 titled “Chapter Eight: The Battle of Starcourt,” after they have defeated Mind Flayer who came to collect Eleven, Hopper supposedly died and

Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), together with her sons Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton), and Eleven left Hawkins and moved to Indiana. The gang consisting of Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink), and Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) were left, but it seems that they will be meeting new friends.

Will the old characters be gone forever?

It was said that while four of the main cast members have left Hawkins and new residents are coming in, this may fully change the story. It was already revealed that some new characters are set to arrive in “Stranger Things” season 3 as casting calls have been announced.

But, the question is, will the old characters who left be gone forever and replaced by new ones? The new cast additions are said to have been added to give a new outlook on how “Stranger Things” will continue but Express opined that as they sent the old characters away and the new ones will take over in “Stranger Things” season 4, it could be a recipe for the series to end since the fans will surely be disappointed for the originals to be replaced.

Meanwhile, the title for “Stranger Things” season 4 episode 1 has been revealed to be "Chapter One: The Hellfire Club." the premiere date for the drama is not yet available, but we could be looking at a summer release next year
