Starbucks revives its clear iced coffee, Coffeeade, for a nationwide rollout this summer, following immense popularity in Japan last year. Concurrently, they join forces with Japanese brand, Porter, to launch a sleek, coffee-inspired collection of bags and bottles.
The Coffeeade's success with the public has led Starbucks to re-release this popular beverage in limited quantities this summer. However, this time the Coffeeade Cool Lime will be served at all Starbucks locations nationwide, allowing the masses to enjoy the unmistakable taste of coffee with a fruity twist, including Lime, Lemon Tonic, and Strawberry Breeze.
Starbucks' "special method" infuses the coffee flavor perfectly into the drinks, which is why the Coffeeade has become a must-try drink. The beverage offers a unique and refreshing summer experience, with the lime juice providing a perfect touch of tartness, followed by a delightful coffee aftertaste.
The Coffeeade Cool Lime will be available in the Short through to Venti sizes, priced from 501-640 yen, and sold from June 28 to August 31. But that's not all, Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo will feature two new flavors, Coffeeade Orange Delight (from 1,031 yen) and the Coffeeade Lime Mint (from 1,080 yen), both available exclusively at the Roastery.
If coffee isn't your thing, but you still want something refreshing, try the iced Matcha Tea Latte, a Starbucks Japan permanent menu item that will definitely hit the spot.
So, what are you waiting for? Before they disappear, visit your nearest Starbucks and quench your thirst with the revitalizing Coffeeade Cool Lime or other scrumptious Coffeeade flavors.
Starbucks has joined forces with Japanese bag brand Porter to offer even more stylish goods. Known for their popular and adorable Totoro bags, Tokyo-based Porter has partnered with Starbucks Japan to launch ten new items.
There are two distinct lines to choose from. One is exclusively available online, whereas the other is available both online and in the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo. Both lines offer bags and bottles because, after all, a Starbucks goods line would be incomplete without bottles.
The Starbucks x Porter collection, which is available online, includes two drum bags in two sizes and two colors. The small size, priced at 29,000 yen ($204.46), and the large size, priced at 38,000 yen, come in an original design based on the shape of a coffee bean. The colors--dark green and black--are perfectly aligned with Starbucks' aesthetics. Additionally, there is a handy pocket to store and retrieve your favorite Starbucks tumbler.
