FAYETTEVILLE, Ga., March 22, 2018 -- Brian D. Schmitt, Chief Executive Officer of SouthCrest Financial Group, Inc. (SCSG:PK) and SouthCrest Bank, N.A., announces the opening of the company’s new branch in Fayetteville that will provide a full suite of state-of-the-art business and consumer banking services to the Fayette County region.
“For more than a century, Georgians have trusted SouthCrest Bank, N.A. to provide personalized, creative banking and financial services that always put the needs of the customer first. That’s our culture,” declared Schmitt. “Whether it’s for a business, a family, a high-net-worth client, an entrepreneur or a couple just starting out, the service provided by our new Fayetteville Branch will embrace that customer-focused culture in everything they do.”
Longtime Fayetteville resident Rhonda Grimes is the Vice President and Manager of the new SouthCrest Branch, located at 741 West Lanier Ave., Suite 102, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214.
With a population estimated at 114,000, almost 40,000 households and more than 3,300 employers, the establishment of the Fayetteville Branch of SouthCrest is in direct response to demand for relationship-based, individualized banking and financial services that are becoming a rarity, said Schmitt. Fayette County adds about 1,700 residents per year.
This announcement is another milestone in SouthCrest’s plan to become a leading financial services provider in the Atlanta MSA.
“Research has shown that for those important monetary life events like buying a home, starting a business, addressing critical bank account needs and even for opening a new bank account, people prefer the reassurance of a face to face meeting with a bank representative over transacting online,” commented Grimes.
“Our goal is for the new SouthCrest Branch to become an integral part of the Fayetteville community,” says Grimes. “Our branch will offer clients a more personal banking relationship experience. At SouthCrest, they will find we are there to help them meet their financial goals and needs.”
