Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have been married for more than a year, but the couple has no child yet. While it can be said that the two may be trying to enjoy their honeymoon phase first, they should not delay it any longer because the actress is not getting any younger.
In any case, even while Joong Ki and Hye Kyo should have their child now, the possibility for them to conceive is very low. But this does not have anything to do with their health, but rather, it is more of work-related.
There are many rumors that the A-list Korean stars are already pregnant, but apparently, this is false as Song Hye Kyo was never, been spotted with a baby bump. Plus, there was no instance when she looks pregnant.
Now, the real reason why Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo cannot conceive yet is because the actress would be very busy with her work. She recently completed the tvN drama “Encounter” with Park Bo Gum and a little while after that, she signed with a production company based in Hong Kong.
"After signing this contract, I believe that I will cooperate with more outstanding Chinese-language directors and actors in the future," Hye Kyo said after confirming her contract with the Jet Tones Film.
She is set to work with director Wong Kar Wai but what kind of film she will be making is still unknown. It should be noted that once she begins filming in Hong Kong, she might have to move away from Song Joong Ki until the movie is finished. With that setup, clearly, the prospect of getting pregnant is zero.
Moreover, the “Descendants of the Sun” actor is also busy with his own projects, and it can be said that he rarely sees his wife these days. The best guess when Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo will finally have their child is two years time - after they have fulfilled all of their commitments.
