It would seem that things are becoming messy over at the “Silicon Valley” universe with shooting for the sixth season getting delayed. As things stand, it would seem that “Silicon Valley” Season 6 will be premiering in 2020 instead of this year. This will prove to be terrible news for the fans of the show who have been anticipating its return to provide them with more geeky laughs and references.
In a recent update to its article, OtakuKart noted how there has been very little news with regards to “Silicon Valley” Season 6 in terms of both the production and the premiere date. It would seem that they have not even begun shooting for the sixth season, which is bad news for the fans. Cancellations have been known to happen, even for a series that has been confirmed to return, after all.
Although this is unlikely to happen to “Silicon Valley” Season 6 considering the massive popularity of the show, there is still the question of quality. If it is suffering this much uncertainty in terms of the production, how likely is it that it won’t suffer any consequences in terms of story, pacing, and character development?
Delays can also cause many fans to lose interest in a show that they were previously quite in love with. With this being the case, there is every chance that “Silicon Valley” Season 6 would drop in terms of the rating numbers when it finally does premiere. This would be a disaster for the show and those who choose to stick with it despite everything.
As of now, the premiere window that most hold to be true for “Silicon Valley” Season 6 is April 2020. Unless anything changes, the sixth season of the show should come out during that time. If not, fans might as well move on because it won’t be worth it then.
