TORONTO, Feb. 22, 2018 -- Shawcor Ltd. (TSX:SCL) announced today that its pipe coating division has received a conditional contract with a value in excess of C$50 million from the EEW Group to provide anti-corrosion and concrete weight coatings in connection with the replacement and upgrading of an offshore pipeline located in Qatar.
The contract is expected to be finalized shortly, will be executed in Shawcor's coating facilities in Italy, and is expected to commence in Q3 2018 and to be completed by Q1 2020.
