It would seem like the hit tv series based on a book series by Cassanda Clare is all set for Valentine's Day as Simon (Alberto Rosende) and Jace (Dominic Sheerwood) over Clary (Katherine McNamara) will be in some intense scenes as they are involved in a love triangle.
We all saw and knew how the movie installment of the book portrayed the competition between Jace and Simon for Clary's attention and the tv show did their best as well.
Rosende said that Simon and Jace will compete for Clary’s affections on screen. “There’s that contentious relationship between them, Jace being the ultimate protector and Simon being the ultimate best friend,” the actor told TV Line. And while Clary needs Jace to guide her through her new life as a Shadowhunter, he said she will also need the comfort that Simon offers as her best friend. “We dive into it in a new way,” Rosende teased of his character's rivalry with Jace. “But it’s very much still a competition between them.”
Both will play a part to Clary's life and with Simon being captured by vampires and discovering the world of supernaturals alone, he will be more than motivated to stay for Clary and protect her as well.
According to the synopsis for “Dead Man’s Party,” Clary will need help rescuing her pal. “Clary convinces Jace, Alec and Isabelle to help her save Simon from The Hotel DuMort,” TV Guide’s plot synopsis reveals. “Meanwhile, Simon meets the leader of the vampires, Camille.”
We will see more of Clary's potentials as she learns new skills and discover more of her powers. Find out more when the new episode of 'Shadowhunters' airs on Freeform.
