‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 3, titled “Ghost Hunt,” is set to feature Woz and Stahl as their rivalry heightens. Harlee will also find herself caught in the middle of a dangerous conflict as she and Woz hunt down a more dangerous rival to get Woz away from the Feds.
The synopsis for “Ghost Hunt” posted on TV Guide reads, “After Wozniak (Ray Liotta) refuses to play ball with the FBI, Stahl (Warren Kole) turns up the heat on Harlee (Jennifer Lopez), who lands in the middle of Wozniak's dangerous plan to free himself from the Feds by reeling in a bigger fish.
Meanwhile, Internal Affairs officer Verco (Dov Davidoff) applies pressure to each member of the crew to discover what really happened to Donnie Pomp.”
In the upcoming episode, Harlee and Woz are set to track down a rival in an attempt to make a deal with the Feds. It seems that the rivalry between Woz and Stahl will heat up after grudges become personal.
According to Christian Post, the previous episode saw Woz attack Stahl as the latter was leaving Harlee’s apartment. In an attempt to stop Woz from killing off the FBI agent, Harlee had to put a gun on Woz’s head. It was then revealed that Harlee’s loyalty was to Woz.
Harlee will have to deal with the consequences of her recent actions when she finds herself in the middle of a dangerous conflict as Woz works on freeing himself from the clutches of the police.
The promo for episode 3 shows Stahl paying Harlee’s daughter Cristina (Sarah Jeffrey) a surprise visit. This hints that things are about to get personal between Stahl and Harlee as he puts more pressure on her.
Meanwhile, Lopez and Liotta admitted their first impressions of each other during an exclusive interview on BUILDSeriesNYC moderated by Lopez’ sister, ABC News journalist Lynda Lopez. According to AOL, the co-stars were asked about meeting for the first time on the set of the crime-drama television series.
Liotta teased, “I knew that Jenny came from the block." This was a reference to Lopez’ hit single "Jenny From The Block.” He added, “Jennifer does her music and everything, but It turns out I'm the diva! Jen is very cool and quiet."
Lopez also chimed in saying, “We were so excited to get Ray for the part… It is like we have been married for two years and it is working out!"
‘Shades of Blue’ season 2’s episode 3, titled “Ghost Hunt,” is scheduled to air on March 19, 2017 on NBC. It will be followed by episode 4, titled "Daddy's Girl," scheduled to be released on March 26.
