Products belonging to Semtech’s RClamp platform feature ultra-low capacitance with industry leading surge handling and ESD protection characteristics. This new device, the RClamp3321P, offers best-in-class ESD clamping voltage performance while minimizing capacitance loading (0.35pF) on the data lines it protects.
“With the rapid adoption of high speed interfaces across multiple end applications in the IoT industry, ESD protection is more necessary than ever for such data links,” said Rick Hansen, Senior Director of Product Marketing in Semtech’s Protection Products Group. “Enabling an elevated level of transient protection for high-speed data lines through its ultra-low capacitance, this new device protects even the most sensitive data interfaces from ESD transient events.”
New RClamp Key Features
- Transient protection for high-speed data lines to: IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) ±17kV (air), ±12kV (contact); IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) 4kV (5/50ns); IEC 61000-4-5 (Lightning) 10A (8/20μs)
- 3.3V working voltage protection
- Protects one I/O line
- Ultra-low capacitance (0.35pF line-to-line)
- Ultra-small flow-through package: 1.0mm x 0.6mm
- Pb-Free and RoHS/WEEE compliant
