‘Scream’ season 2’s episode 6 will find Emma questioning her friends’ loyalties after being confronted by Noah, who believes that her friend is the prime suspect in the Lakewood killings. Noah continues to investigate the murders and puts himself in further danger.
The synopsis posted on Carter Matt stated, “Emma starts to question her friendships when tensions rise between her and her friends. Meanwhile, Noah reveals his latest theory about the identity of Piper’s accomplice. Noah takes his investigations further.” It seems that Emma is put in a tight situation after realizing that she has reason to doubt her friends. She begins to doubt their allegiance and wonders who to trust at this point in the series.
Episode 6’s promo opens with Emma (Willa Fitzgerald) voicing out that she has to take extra precaution on who she can trust before anything else. The next scene flashes with a photograph of Audrey (Bex Taylor-Klaus) plastered on the wall with the words “prime suspect”. Emma seeks to defend her friend saying, “It’s not Audrey!” By the end of the promo, audiences teased with another major attack.
Meanwhile, Noah (John Karna) is seeking to explore the depth of the murder cases in town inadvertently putting his life at risk. He continues to lay out his theories, specifically tagging Audrey as the number one suspect.
According to Movie News Guide, Emma is horrified to find out that Noah even suspected her friend. He may need to prod the issue deeper to prove Audrey’s connections to the killer. Season 2 brought in a new bloodthirsty antagonist in the town of Lakewood.
The incoming episode’s title may be homage to Victor Salva’s 2001 horror film of the same name. The film starred Gina Philips, Justin Long, and Jonathan Breck. Francis Ford Coppola served as executive producer. It followed two siblings stalked by a demonic entity.
‘Scream’ season 2’s episode 6 is scheduled to premiere on MTV on July 5, 2016. The American slasher horror television series was developed by Jill Blotevogel, Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie based on the film of the same name, which was released on October 1996.
