Another episode with so many twists and turns were yet again released by the team behind the hit TV series ‘Scandal’. And now to give you a clue as to what the whole episode was all about, here is a recap of episode 14 titled “I See You”. Beware though; spoilers are lurking in this article.
First on the list is Abby who is now more resolved in taking down Vargas. Armed with proof of Cyrus’ connection to Governor Vargas in her slingshot, Abby is prepared to face off against the White House Chief of Staff. She brought her proof to Fitz, who needed a little convincing that firing Cyrus wouldn’t do more harm than good. It turned out that Liv advised her to be the better person but her attempts at making Abby do good is thrown in the trash.
Cyrus, on the other hand, took this in a surprisingly calm way. This might mean something sinister knowing that he handled it easily. Cyrus might be preparing for his plan B after what Abby just did.
Meanwhile, Olivia is still playing the detective/stalker card as she continues to spy on Jake and his girlfriend. Liv realized that not only is Jake definitely playing the new girl, but Liv, herself, was also only a pawn in his game. After days of spying on him, she finally learned his game. 1. Run into identified target woman in a coffee shop, and knock her phone out of her hands. 2. Bump into her days later, where she will be so charmed to see you again that she asks you out. Nice one Jake.
And because Jake knew about Liv spying on him, he confronted her about it. So to make Jake believe that she will stop snooping on him, she actually apologized to him and decided to move on. But the truth is she will try and figure out what the heck Jake is up to this time.
On the other side of the story, Hollis Doyle threw his hat into the Presidential ring this week, stealing Mellie’s platform, slogan (“Embrace America’s tomorrow!”) and even the location of her announcement in the process. How would Mellie react to this?
Stay tuned and find out.
