‘Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru’ Release Date: More Training and Worldbuilding to be Featured; Might Address a Princess’ Role

“Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” Chapter 7 will be continuing on the current training that Daruma is conducting for his apprentice. Much of what’s been developed so far is the mentor-apprentice relationship between Maru and Daruma.

“Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” Chapter 7 is expected to dive deeper into this setup, with most of the narrative centered on the imparting of knowledge to the main protagonist. The previous release already introduced the third hero of the series, a princess who appears to be on the early stages of her training as well.

Simply called Ann, this protagonist has been hinted as the key to unlocking Maru’s full fighting potential. Daruma explained that there are three cores in reaching this height: the samurai himself, a key holder, and the princess. Only when both three conditions are met should a warrior truly possess a strength worthy of praise. Right now, Daruma is in the midst of teaching his student the art of mastering the key holder. Thus, expect to see more on this front on “Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” Chapter 7 as it emphasizes the bond between a samurai and his chosen animal companion.

It’s also speculated to provide more information about being a princess and what role this position holds in Kishimoto’s technologically advanced world. As it stands, it appears that the title of a princess doesn’t mean royalty but may be referring to a priestess or an oracle. Where Maru’s powers come from his physical prowess, the princess’ strength might be residing on her capabilities to cast spells. Of course, this is merely speculation at this point, and we’ll have to wait for “Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” to confirm this.

Fortunately, the readers won’t have to wait long as the next entry is slated for release on June 23. Regarding the overall plot of the series, one has yet to emerge other than the fact that the heroes are tasked to recover the key’s that would unlock Pandora’s Box. Hopefully, “Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru” Chapter 7 would address this to provide a sense of urgency and a legitimate reason for Maru’s training.
