With “Outlander” season 4 airing its season premiere episode just yesterday evening, fans have finally been able to get through the droughtlander hump with their first taste of Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser) and Caitriona Balfe's (Claire Fraser) on-screen romance in 11 months. While Jamie and Claire's romance is known for its thrill factor, it seems that the television couple's love is not just for giving fans a warm fuzzy feeling.
Recently, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe sat down with E! News to give their reactions to some videos sent by fans for the “Outlander” season 4 couple to enjoy. The surprising caveat to the videos shown to Heughan and Balfe is the fact that all the children featured in them are collectively known as “Outlander” babies.
According to Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe's host, the babies were all conceived due to Heughan and Balfe's fans getting worked up by Jamie and Claire's love scenes. The “Outlander” season 4 celebrities reacted to the news with a mix of surprise and appreciation for the children featured in the videos.
Some of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe's reactions were particularly humorous, with Balfe even commenting on the fact that one of the children was given the name Randall as a middle name. Fans will remember that Randall is the surname of both Claire Fraser's first husband, Frank Randall, and his ancestor, “Black Jack” Randall – both of whom were portrayed by Tobias Menzies.
Interestingly enough, most of the children featured in the videos are due to Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe's performances in the past seasons. With the first episode of “Outlander” season 4 already featuring hot and steamy lovemaking from the television couple, fans can only wonder if their fellow fans will probably be having “Outlander” babies sometime in 2019.
Fans who cannot get enough of Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe's on-screen chemistry can catch “Outlander” season 4's next episode when it airs during the show's usual Sunday broadcast schedule on Nov. 11. Fans may want to watch the upcoming episode by themselves if their currently not thinking of having any “Outlander” babies anytime soon.
