Caitriona Balfe wants fans to get more excited about the upcoming episodes of “Outlander” season 4, thus she posts teasers every now and them via her social media account. Previously, she disclosed about Brianna’s (Sophie Skelton) trip to the old English world and this is quite exciting because this is Claire’s daughter’s first journey to the past.
Via Twitter, Caitriona Balfe uploaded a BTS photo showing Ian Fraser and Bree together. The latter’s time-travel is one of the most awaited scenes because it will also show Claire’s first meeting with her grown-up daughter who came from the future. In her post, the actress captioned the teaser image with “Something so creepy about this.”
On the other hand, Sam Heughan talked about Murtagh’s recent return to “Outlander” season 4. Jamie Fraser and Murtagh met again after a long time but Same Heughan revealed that rather than protecting him like he used to when he was still a kid, he may be fighting with his godfather this time around.
“There’s always been a great bond between Jamie and Murtagh,” Sam Heughan told TV Line. “It’s kind of been unsaid but he really is his godfather, his guide. For Jamie, it’s just everything to have him back in his life.”
Caitriona Balfe’s “Outlander” co-star went on to explain that since the two men have not been in contact for a long time, there is no assurance that they will be able to re-form their close relationship. Being on the opposite side of the Regulators also means that they are likely to have more conflicts than have more bonding time in the future.
“Jamie’s grown up, and he’s certainly his own man now,” he said. “To have this cantankerous old man in his life is also going to cause some trouble. It really is setting up other seasons now, with the war that’s coming.”
Meanwhile, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s “Outlander” season 4’s next episode titled “Wilmington” is set to air on Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. on Starz.
