Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s “Outlander” season 4 premiered on Nov. 4 on Starz and it is already heading to episode 4 titled “Common Ground” which will be out on Nov. 25. While the period drama started airing just early this month, filming for the whole season already ended so the lead stars are now busy with other works and attending to personal stuff.
So, what are Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe up to these days? Well, the former is currently filming movies so after completing “The Spy Who Dumped Me,” he immediately set out to work on the American superhero film called “Bloodshot.” In this movie, he will star alongside Vin Diesel, Guy Pearce, Eiza González, and Toby Kebbell and it will be released in 2020.
Aside from this, Sam Heughan is also busy with charity works and this is why he partnered with Omaze for a special fundraising project. The best thing about his campaign is that donors will get something amazing in exchange for their contributions.
This is why Caitriona Balfe’s “Outlander” co-star is looking for a Sassenach to go on a date with him. He is inviting everyone to participate and whoever will get chosen to be his date will be treated like a princess where Sam Heughan will play the part as the prince.
To go on a romantic date with Sam Heughan and attend the annual My Peak Challenge gala with him, fans just need to donate a certain amount and they will have the chance to be chosen and flown to Scotland to meet Jamie Fraser in person. Just visit Omaze and you can be one of the lucky winners.
On the other hand, while Sam Heughan looks for a date, Caitriona Balfe revealed to Marie Claire magazine that she is getting married soon. Because she got engaged to her boyfriend Tony McGill last year, she was asked if the wedding is near and the actress said that it is correct.
To be more exact, Caitriona Balfe shared that the marriage to her fiance will happen as “as soon as I plan it.” The 39-year-old star also joked that Sam Heughan can be her wedding planner and officiant!
Meanwhile, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s “Outlander” season 4 episode 4 is coming up this Friday at 8 p.m. on Starz. This will be the follow-up to episode 3’s “The False Bride” that was aired on Nov. 18.
