PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 31, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FilmOn TV Networks will stream the 127th Tournament of Roses Parade live from Pasadena, CA for international audiences, CEO Alki David and Dick Block, Director of International TV Services for the Tournament of Roses announced today. The free live stream will be presented on FilmOn.com and is the only way to watch the world famous event with no interruptions.
The parade precedes the Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Stanford Cardinals Rose Bowl matchup, one of the most anticpated in the Bowl's history. The theme of the 2016 Tournament of Roses parade, which is sponsored by Honda, is "Find Your Adventure." The parade's Grand Marshall is Emmy and Grammy award winning documentary filmmaker Ken Burns.
Backstage coverage and a special countdown show precede the parade coverage. The stream begins at 6 a.m PST/3 p.m. GMT on January 1st, 2016 with backstage and preview coverage. The 2 hour Tournament of Roses Parade stream begins at 8 a.m. PST/ 6 p.m. GMT. The parade coverage will rebroadcast immediately afterwards. Viewers can watch here.
