“Rick and Morty” season 4 is finally happening after a long wait. The third installment concluded in 2017, so the series was on hiatus for more than a year. But with the premiere date already announced, everyone is looking forward to what Adult Swim is offering this time.
There have been a lot of speculations with regards to “Rick and Morty” season 4’s plot, and although they were not officially confirmed, some of the suggestions make sense based on the social media posts of show creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. Those involved in the production of the comedy animation sometimes drop hints as well, so there are ideas of what to expect.
One of the most popular guesses on “Rick and Morty” season 4’s story is that it will include the Interdimensional Cable format. This idea cropped up after Roiland posted a tweet that featured a photo of himself in the recording studio and wrote “idc3” as its caption. Fans think that the IDC will return for the third time in the upcoming season and they are excited to see it back.
The Interdimensional Cable story was well-liked by the viewers, so its return is anticipated in “Rick and Morty” season 4. The IDC first appeared in season 1 when Rick installed a cable box that allowed them to receive all the TV channels from all dimensions, planets and everywhere else in the universe.
In any case, “Rick and Morty” season 4 has moved from Netflix to Channel 4. As per Radio Times, viewers in the U.K. can go to this channel to watch instead of the streaming site. This channel is the new home of Adult Swim so the first three seasons will also be moved here soon.
“Rick and Morty” season 4 will be back in November, but fans still have to wait for the specific date. Channel 4 will air the show shortly after it airs in the U.S.
