‘Quantico’ season 2’s episode 14, titled “Lnwilt," is set to follow President Haas as she assembles a secret task force in the wake of the G20 attack. Alex is set to reunite with her closest allies to take down dangerous bureaucrats in new mission.
The synopsis for episode 14 posted on TV Guide reads, “In the wake of the G20 hostage crisis, President Claire Haas (Marcia Cross) assembles an illegal and clandestine joint task force, bringing together Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and her friends from both the FBI and CIA to unmask a global conspiracy.”
The upcoming promo opens to President Haas rounding out members of her new covert operation. She tells the team, “There is a war going on that the world cannot know about. That’s why I’ve formed a select team to fight it.” The team will go on a mission to subdue a growing threat.
It seems that Alex and her allies will be in the forefront of taking down dangerous people that have infiltrated the U.S. government. Their mission is said to be larger than what the FBI and CIA can do alone. It will also be illegal and “non-existent.”
Alex will be reuniting with some of her closest friends, including Shelby (Johanna Brady), Nimah (Yasmin Al Massri), Dayana (Pearl Thusi), and former love interest Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) as they are called into action in one of the most covert operations secretly sanctioned by President Haas.
According to Cartermatt, it was revealed that Lydia (Tracy Ifeachor) was the mastermind behind the attacks during the G20 summit as well as the hostage crisis. Although this revelation may not have been surprising for fans of ABC’s drama-thriller series, the hint about Caleb’s (Graham Rogers) return came as a shocker.
Caleb is poised to head the task force put together by President Hass and will be thrust into the spotlight once more, according to International Business Times. Showrunner Josh Safron confrmed during a previous interview, "[Caleb] is coming back. I can't say when exactly, but yes, he is back.”
He also teased, "The people behind the AIC wanted the drives for themselves, but they weren't able to at the G20...now that it's out in the world, we have to monitor and see who's accessing it because that'll lead us to who those people behind the AIC are before they do something worse.”
‘Quantico’ season 2’s episode 14, titled “Lnwilt," is scheduled to air on March 20, 2017 on ABC. It was directed by Norman Buckley and written by Joshua Safran & Gideon Yago. It will be followed by episode 15, titled “Mockingbird,” scheduled to be released on March 27 and directed by Patrick Norris.
