Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles 2019: No Grand Conspiracy to Split Couple Up, Despite Reports

The British tabloid media had always been unforgiving and ruthless when it comes to trying to take down famous figures and the recent Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles stories prove it. Tabloid magazines have basically been claiming that the queen has been trying to split the two apart for some time now. Despite these and other claims, however, there is no grand conspiracy to make the two divorce.

As Gossip Cop points out, a recent Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles story by the Globe claimed that the marriage between the two had just been deemed illegal. This would then lead to the latter not receiving money if they end up getting divorced, along with some jail time. Suffice it to say, none of the claims made are true or even remotely believable.

The publication even tried to make its claim sound more legitimate by claiming that there was a source in the palace where it was getting its information from. This supposed tipster allegedly said that a judge had ruled that Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles marriage was illegal. This was supposedly based on the fact that it violated a certain law.

“After consulting with British government officials, the judge ruled their wedding violated the Marriage Act of 1836,” the supposed insider reportedly said. “Under that act, the Prince of Wales, as future head of the Church of England, must marry in church with a clergyman officiating. But Charles and Camilla, both divorced, said ‘I do’ in a civil ceremony.”

“If there’s no legal marriage there can be no divorce… That means Charles dodges a staggering $217 million divorce settlement,” the suspicious tipster then later added.

Everything about this Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles report is just wrong, including the fact about the Marriage Act of 1836. That particular piece of legislation had already been replaced with a new one that makes the couple’s marriage completely legal. More to the point, they are also not getting divorced by order of the queen.
