Kate Middleton Reportedly Change Her Wardrobe to Keep Up and Beat Meghan Markle’s Style

Kate Middleton is reportedly jealous of Meghan Markle’s fashion because even if she is pregnant right now, the Duchess of Cambridge is still a no match to the former “Suits” actress when it comes to dressing glamorously. Thus, a seasoned stylist alleged that Prince William’s wife is revamping her wardrobe to keep up with Prince Harry’s wife’s style.

The Sun noted that despite being pregnant, Meghan Markle is still wearing those high heels and body-hugging designer dresses instead of maternity clothes and flats. Stylist Lucas Armitage said that because of her being fashionable even if pregnant, Kate Middleton was forced to look at her wardrobe and reconsider her outfits.

Meghan Markle’s insistence of wearing the designer clothes in place of maternity ones made people think of her as a style icon. She was able to maintain the glamour through her stylish but practical getups and this what Kate Middleton is said to be jealous about.

In an interview with The Daily Mail’s Femail, Armitage commented on the Duchess of Sussex’s style, “Meghan has cemented herself a place as the leading stylish member of the Royal family, and rumors are circulating she has forced Kate to up her style game.”

He added, “While we hardly expected her to be making a trolley dash round mamas and papas for her maternity threads, it would have been great to see some affordable and attainable pieces in her maternity wardrobe. Instead, she opted for bespoke designer creations and designer pieces that coincidentally would work on a bump.”

Meanwhile, the fashion war between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton seems to continue when Prince Charles was said to have warned the former about wearing a tiara. Fox News reported that the Prince of Wales told Markle not to wear a tiara at a state dinner overseas, however, on the same night, Kate Middleton was spotted wearing a diamond-crusted tiara at the Buckingham Palace.

It was revealed that the Duchess of Sussex made a request to wear a tiara with precious stones when she attended a state dinner in Fiji but as said before, her request has been denied. Mundane things like this, made people assume that things are not going well between Prince Harry and Prince William’s wife but when Kensington Palace was contacted to comment on their alleged feud, it refused to give statements. This leaves the question if there is really an animosity between the young generation of the Duchesses.
