Pepsico's Lay's potato chips snack brand is bringing back a favorite flavor on hiatus for four years. For the relaunch, the brand has partnered with two popular "Vanderpump Rules" reality show stars - Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix.
Lay's announced that its Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup flavor is returning this year. The sandwich-inspired flavor will return next month at the upcoming BravoCon 2023.
Limited-Time Release
The snack maker is returning its Lay's Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup flavor on Nov. 3 at the BravoCon, which will take place at Ceasars Forum in Las Vegas. And since this is a Bravo Media event that is home to several hit reality shows, including the "Vanderpump Rules," Lay's tapped two of the show's well-known cast for the relaunch of the said potato chip flavor, as per SF & WB.
Then again, fans must get a hold of Lay's Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup as soon as it drops in the supermarkets because it will only be sold for a limited time. Together with Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney, Pepsico will debut the said Lay's flavor at the BravoCon 2023.
The Origin of the Exciting Lay's Flavor
All Recipes reported that the Lay's Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup flavor was first introduced in 2019. At that time, it was also in the supermarkets for a few months only, and now Lay's is allowing customers to taste the goodness of this snack again after years of absence. At the BravoCon 2023, the snack will also be presented in several Lay's-infused food and cocktail recipes inspired by Bravo.
"We are excited to partner with these two icons to create a unique moment of connection with Lay's and bring back an iconic flavor for our fans," Frito-Lay North America's senior vice president of marketing, Tina Mahal, said in a press release. "Lay's is an expert in flavor innovation we're looking forward to sharing our delicious potato chips and delicious culinary creations inspired by Ariana and Katie's new restaurant at BravoCon."
