DENVER, Oct. 10, 2017 -- Pax8, the leading value-added cloud distributor, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Jennifer Bodell, director of Channel and one of CRN’s Power 100, and Don Jeter, senior director of Marketing, to its 100 People You Don’t Know But Should list for 2017.
As the director of Channel, Bodell is responsible for strategic direction of the company’s key IT channel relationships, including new growth opportunities and program development. Before joining Pax8, Bodell held multiple channel-focused leadership positions at StorageCraft, including her most recent position as the company’s Channel Marketing Manager. Throughout her career, Bodell has earned several achievements including the 2016 Presenter of the Year by HTG, one of CRN’s Power 100 in 2017 and 2016, a CRN 2017 and 2016 Women of the Channel, and she was named a 2015 Rising Star by the Utah American Marketing Association. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from the University of Utah.
As senior director of Marketing, Jeter leads the company’s strategic go-to-market efforts, including marketing enablement programs, lead generation, campaign messaging, and partner/vendor engagement. Previously, Jeter held various marketing roles at Symantec and Veritas. While at Veritas, the world’s leader in information management, Jeter received many accolades, including the CMO’s Marketing MVP honor and North America’s VP Leadership award. He received a Bachelor of Science from Southern Oregon University.
“We are thrilled to honor Jennifer and Don for their commitment to the IT channel, and this recognition is a reflection of their hard work and dedication,” said Nick Heddy, vice president of Sales at Pax8. “Both Jennifer and Don are on the road listening to the needs of the IT channel community and building award-winning programs that encompass the education, enablement, and incentives to fuel the partner’s success. They are the Cloud Wing Twins you see at every channel event, ensuring partners have the air cover they need to succeed with cloud services.”
The CRN editorial team, assessing feedback from solution providers and other industry executives, compiles this annual list to celebrate under-the-radar channel management team members from the industry’s top vendors and distributors. Those selected have worked tirelessly to create, promote and manage programs and policies that support and advance the IT channel.
“A number of unsung channel heroes work hard every day to drive innovation, profits and successful partnerships, holding the IT ecosystem’s equilibrium steady and keeping it on a path to growth,” said Robert Faletra, chief executive officer at The Channel Company. “They may not often share the spotlight with more high-profile channel figures, but the difference they make is irrefutable. We are pleased to shine a light on these individuals with CRN’s 2017 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should and to honor their essential contributions to the channel.”
The 2017 list of 100 People You Don’t Know But Should will be featured in the October issue of CRN and can be viewed online at www.crn.com/100people.
