Park Shin Hye just finished filming the thriller movie titled “Call,” and she is already gearing up for her next filming schedule. This time, she will be starring with A-list actor Yoo Ah In for the movie written by an American writer.
Shin Hye and Ah In are set to work together for the film called #ALONE. As Korea’s top actors today, this project is already expected to do well in the box office. Their casting has been announced on July 11, but there is no update yet if the cameras are already rolling for the film’s production.
What #ALONE is about
The movie tells the story of a city that turned chaotic due to the spread of an unknown infection. There are only a few survivors, and they struggle to stay alive in the isolated district.
As stated on Korea’s Star Today, Yoo Ah In will play Joon Woo, one of the survivors in the film. He is a gamer who cut himself off from the world for fear of being infected. On the other hand, Park Shin Hye will be Yoo Bin, another survivor who fights to live. She learned her own survival skills to get through the frightening situation.
People behind the movie
Shin Hye’s upcoming movie is based on the original work of Matt Naylor, a screenwriter in Hollywood who also produced and directed some documentary series in the U.S. like the “Small Business Revolution: Main Street.”
It will be directed by Jo Il Hyung, a Korean director who has worked in the U.S. for various projects under the American Film Institute. #ALONE will be his very first feature film.
Park Shin Hye’s other projects
The actress is working on two movies this year after completing her drama series with Hyun Bin titled “Memories of the Alhambra.” She immediately proceeded to work for the movie “Call” with Jeon Jong Seo then she took up a hosting job for a documentary titled “Humanimal.”
Park Shin Hye is currently on-site for the new documentary as she will also experience the real situation in the stories that she will be presenting. Lastly, filming for #ALONE will also begin soon as the movie is scheduled for release in 2020.
