German brand PUMA and Noah celebrate their sporty collaboration with a new collection inspired by varsity sportswear, featuring made-in-Japan footwear and nostalgic designs. Meanwhile, PUMA and Coperni redefine fashion and speed with their innovative, performance-driven collection.
PUMA and Noah Celebrate Sportsmanship and Style with New Varsity-Inspired Collection
According to Fibre2Fashion, PUMA, and Noah continue their collaboration, commemorating the unwavering passion for sportsmanship and the individual triumphs that define great athletes, inspired by the concept of style as an extension of winning spirit.
The collection's driving concepts are illustrated through archival graphics, premium fabrics, and elevated detailing, resulting in a range that exemplifies classic varsity sportswear. The collection's highlights include made-in-Japan footwear.
The nostalgic Jet Sleeve Tee and the Graphic Tee, which boasts a punk rock-inspired torso logo, are both included in the apparel collection. The Mesh Practice Top, characterized by a V-neck, ringer-inspired silhouette, and a collegiate-inspired graphic designed by PUMA and Noah, is complemented by the corresponding mesh Lacrosse Shorts.
The Super PUMA mascot is again featured on the rear pocket label of the cut-and-sew Painter Pants in a "Future Pink" colorway. These pants also feature workwear-inspired pockets. The collection is concluded by a 6-panel BB Cap featuring a wool exterior and an archival PUMA logo.
The PUMA Suede, manufactured in Japan, is a follow-up to the PUMA and Noah's made-in-Japan Clyde from 2023. A subtle brown color scheme characterizes it and features Noah's equal-arm cross logo and a leather interior.
Noah also reintroduces the PUMA Star, a re-issue of the PUMA Wimbledon, a professional tennis shoe from the late 1970s that was never distributed in the United States. The 2024 Star is distinguished by a textile upper with a contrasting leather Formstrip, a co-branded tongue label, and the return of Noah's cross logo on the heel.
PUMA and Coperni Unveil Fashion-Forward Collection Blending Elite Sportswear and Futuristic Design
The PUMA x Coperni 90SQR, a sculpted dress shoe engineered to the specifications of a performance football boot, was the catalyst for the collaboration in January. Both brands are currently introducing a comprehensive vision that combines fashion and speed, drawing inspiration from the uniforms of elite athletes. The drop is a highly purposeful and straightforward design that employs the finest materials and details, resulting in a groundbreaking statement of sports and style.
The collection's focal points are the Speedsuit, Bodysuit, Speed Dress, and Tights. The dynamic designs are characterized by fluid lines and sleek shapes, influenced by Coperni's passion for futurism. The Football Jersey from the collection is adorned with subtly placed Coperni and PUMA logos on the torso.
Jacquard mesh and tactile heat-transfer embellishments are among the innovative features throughout the collection, in addition to French flag detailing, which honors Coperni's heritage. The initial footwear release introduced color schemes further developed by white, black, and vibrant yellow tones. Accessories consist of a signature Coperni handbag in two sizes, the Medium and Small Bag, debossed with chrome foil and featuring branded draw tabs.
PUMA and Coperni also introduced a collaborative version of the Speedcat, a silhouette from F1 racing. A structural cage overlaps the low-profile shoe's synthetic leather base, and 3D-printed logo strikes align with the co-branding on the tongue. Complementing the collection's apparel, the Speedcat Coperni is available in black and white.
The visuals for PUMA and Coperni's inaugural campaign encapsulate the duality between immobility and motion, illustrating the themes of time and movement. The creative fusion between the two brands is exemplified by the symbiosis that emerges as the two protagonists embark on their voyage.
