It has only been a couple of weeks since developers released the 0.15.5 update for “PUBG Mobile,” but rumors are already rife that the 0.16.0 patch notes will arrive very soon. However, the next update is no longer expected to include Erangel 2.0 map.
‘PUBG Mobile’ 0.16.0 update to be released in early December?
Every update released for “PUBG Mobile” is worth looking forward to because they do not just contain improvements and fixes. The latest patches came with new game modes, weapons, vehicles, and other content. The same is anticipated for the 0.16.0 update that could be released as soon as early December.
Rumors about the “PUBG Mobile” 0.16.0 update have been rife that it would carry the much-awaited upgrade to Erangel. The said map was one of the first content released in the franchise. Its reported version 2.0 is expected to feature crisper visuals. However, a recent report has indicated that 0.16.0 would go live without the Erangel 2.0 and that the upgraded map delayed to the next update.
Players still have other reasons to look forward to “PUBG Mobile” 0.16.0. The gameplay update is expected to introduce a much easier way to switch from a first-person to a third-person perspective even during a match. If Erangel 2.0 would not be in the 0.16.0 patch notes, the original map is still anticipated to receive a new appearance. It could be temporarily designed to match the approaching winter season.
The biggest update in “PUBG Mobile” 0.16.0 could be another game mode called the Death Race. While this is not exactly a new feature, Death Race has yet to be enjoyed by mobile gamers. This game mode, simply, is a racing contest but with the vehicles filled with a heavily armed squad. Reaching the finish line is not the only goal, but also to kill as many opponents as possible during a certain period.
‘PUBG Mobile’ latest updates add new game modes and other content
Updates 0.15.0 and 0.15.5 were the highlights of the fall season for “PUBG Mobile” players. In 0.15.0 update, developers added the Payload mode where players can control airstrikes, attack enemies while riding a helicopter and revive their killed teammates.
“PUBG Mobile” 0.15.5 went live with the Royale Pass Season 10 updates and the new Team Deathmatch gameplay. The latest added mode also comes with an exclusive map called Ruins.
