It looks like Sony has prevented the PlayStation Plus free games from leaking for a second month. Luckily, members of the subscription service do not have to wait any longer for the list of freebies going live next month.
Sony unveiled the list of free games for PS Plus members in March, which will include “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” as a bonus title. The company usually releases three free games every month, but Sony confirmed in a blog post on Wednesday that subscribers can look forward to a fourth title next month.
The multiplayer mode was originally released in late 2020. It features a set of new missions with stories based on Japanese folklore that players can go through with someone else. It also allows players to choose from four classes, namely Samurai, Ronin, Assassin, and Hunter. “Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” also comes with the Rivals Mode, where two teams of two players will have to race to defeat hordes of enemies and collect Magatama that they can then use against the opposing team.
“Ghost of Tsushima: Legends” is one of the best games to be offered for free to members because, being an online multiplayer, it requires a PS Plus subscription to play. It also will not require players to buy the base game or the Director’s Cut as it is a standalone title currently sold on the PS Store for $19.99. PS4 and PS5 members will be able to download the game next month.
PS Plus members are also getting a free copy of “ARK: Survival Evolved” next month. The MMO survival game is set in an open-world environment, where players get to mount prehistoric creatures while fighting against human and animal enemies.
The kart racing game “Team Sonic Racing” will also be available to download for free starting next week. It was one of the popular spin-offs from the original “Sonic” series that lets players choose from 15 characters and use sports cars in racing matches. Unlike the widely popular “Mario Kart,” though, “Team Sonic Racing” is more focused on cooperative gameplay. The cyberpunk-themed platformer “Ghostrunner” completes the list of free PS Plus games in March.
These four games will be available to download on PS Plus on Mar. 1. Members can still get their free copies of “UFC 4,” “Planet Coaster: Console Edition” on PS5, and “Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure” until Monday, Feb. 28.
