‘One piece’ chapter 995 release date, spoilers: Theory suggests Law is a traitor as the all-out war in Onigashima continues

The war in Onigashima is still on and at this point, it is still hard to predict which side is winning. Readers will see the powerful villains and protagonists on the battlefield, and even those who were not seen for a while will be back as well since this is already the climax of the Wano arc.

Chapter recap

In chapter 994, titled “My Other Name is Yamato,” Momonosuke is on the run with Shinobu and Yamato. It can be recalled that King ordered Momo to be executed because the rivals are planning to make him the Shogun of Wano. Plus, the Kozuki clan has been revived because of him so he wants Oden’s son dead.

Sanji is out to bring Momo to a safe place while the scabbards are still fighting with Kaido who already revert back to his normal form after transforming into a dragon. Now, as the trio is running away, Shinobu has been wounded by the enemies and Yamato immediately covered him and Momo to deflect the incoming attacks.

It was revealed in a short backstory that 20 years ago, Yamato also tried to save Momo from her own father Kaido but she was still a child back then. Now she can do it properly and protect Oden’s son.

The fight will go on and Yamato will fight for Momo, but it is uncertain if she will withstand all the attacks since the number of enemies is really huge. It was predicted that Kaido will help and save her daughter.

Also, on Reddit’s discussion board for “One Piece” chapter 995 spoilers, there is a surprising theory that suggests Law is a traitor. After some fans posted the hashtag #SiLuffyconfiayoconfio which means "If Luffy trusts Law, I Trust Law" in English, they theorized that Law may be backstabbing Luffy soon.

While there are fans who are convinced that he may be a surprise traitor, others explained that this is impossible because Law has been fighting with the Straw Hats since Punk Hazard. In fact, it seems that he is actually part of Luffy’s crew already.

“Law would never betray Luffy, remember what Luffy did for him in Dressrosa (arc), it was Law’s life’s desire to beat Doflamingo and avenge Corazon,” one fan further commented.

In any case, it was also predicted that Kaido will be defeated in “One Piece” chapter 995 but it will not be an easy win as there could be lots of casualties. Yamato will continue to protect Momo and Luffy is likely to face Queen.

Meanwhile, “One Piece” chapter 995 is coming on Nov. 15 as per VIZ Media. Apparently, there will be a two-week hiatus again as Eiichiro Oda and his team take a break.
