There are a lot of questions with regards to “One Punch Man” Season 2 right now, which reading the manga should help clear up right away. However, it’s worth pointing out that not everything in the illustrated format actually makes it to the anime. This is where the question with regards to how much will actually be covered in the show once it premieres comes in.
Those who have read the manga will know that the Hero Hunter arc will coincide with a rather interesting development wherein a Monster arc is taking place. The heroes will busy hunting the villain of “One Punch Man” Season 2, as noted by Crunchyroll News in covering a new trailer. Meanwhile, monsters that seem to be stronger than normal will be popping up, as well. What’s more, both of them will be giving the heroes a lot of trouble.
On the one side, there is the hero hunter Garou who will be killing virtually any hero he comes across. As a powerful martial artist, the former student of Bang is a formidable foe who no one short of an S-Class can handle. On the other side are the monsters that seem to be sprouting from the ground and causing destruction.
Naturally, fans already know that worrying about such things is pointless since Saitama can just step in to take care of everything. However, “One Punch Man” Season 2 will actually see the Caped Baldy occupied in one way or another, leading to some impressive chaos to occur before he can act. In hunting Garou, for example, Saitama won’t even be that involved.
As for the monsters, it’s possible that “One Punch Man” Season 2 will wrap up before the actual big baddie is shown. If so, at least fans will have plenty to look forward to for season 3. For now, they can content themselves with the explosive hype surrounding the second season’s April premiere.
