A complete copy of “One Piece” chapter 967 has been leaked more than a week before its official release online. It reveals the final details of Gol D. Roger’s great voyage, where he reaches the final island of the world with Oden Kozuki’s help. The chapter also explains why the island was named Laugh Tale.
‘One Piece’ chapter 967 spoilers: Roger completes his voyage
“One Piece” chapter 967 opens with the Roger Pirates leaving Skypiea and proceeding to Water 7. Their voyage takes them to Fishman Island, where they hear of Sharyly’s prophecies. The most interesting one being about Neptune’s daughter, to be born in 10 years, as the weapon described in the poneglyph.
The Roger Pirates went to Wano briefly to bring Toki there as she falls sick. While Oden wants to stay with her, Toki insists that her husband must complete his adventure. The crew later arrive in Zou, where they find the last Road Poneglyph with the Kozuki clan seal making Oden realize they are sworn allies of the Minks.
‘One Piece’ chapter 967 explains the name Laugh Tale
The final panels of “One Piece” chapter 967 are important and exciting. The news of Roger becoming the King of the Pirates starts to spread while Oden writes down on his journal the final details of his adventure, including finding out the meaning of the D in Roger’s name.
On the last page of “One Piece” chapter 967, a huge segment is dedicated to Roger laughing with a single ball of tear on his left eye. The rest of his crew are laughing as well because they find the nature of what One Piece is a laughable matter considering all the trouble they went through. When someone asked what they should name the island, Roger decides to call it Laugh Tale. But, rightfully so, Eiichiro Oda maintained the secrecy of what the One Piece actually is and what Laugh Tale looks like.

The leaked copy spreading online is not the official English translation of “One Piece” chapter 967. In fact, the chapter will not be released in Japan until after New Year. The official worldwide digital release of chapter 967 comes out on Jan. 6, 2020, and can be accessed through the Manga Plus website or its mobile app for free.
