There are quite a few things that could happen in “One Piece” Chapter 942, with many expecting that Tonoyasu will make some startling revelations about Wano and Oden. However, with the chapter getting pushed back to a release two weeks from now, it can be difficult to get a good grasp of the situation. What could happen, however, is that the mountain bandits could come down and accidentally stop the execution.
With Yasu getting captured, it almost feels inevitable that he is going to be executed for his offenses against Orochi. Hi daughter and consequently Hiyori are now headed towards the capital, Inquistr notes, which means that Zoro will not be far behind. During the last chapter, it was also shown that the area of the mountain bandits was burned. This is why they might retaliate in “One Piece” Chapter 942.
Having the criminals come over to take revenge for their burned territory and saving Yasu in the process is certainly something that the manga’s author would not be above doing. He has been known to pull off some of the most absurd twists in the manga industry. If there is going to be a rescue in “One Piece” Chapter 942, it might as well be an accidental one.
Naturally, there will also likely be some involvement by Zoro, Hiyori, and Toko, although it isn’t clear to what extent right now. If Hiyori does go back to the capital, it’s more than likely that she will disrupt the funeral of the alter ego she was using for decades. Then again, this could work as a distraction so that Orochi could take his attention away from Yasu and direct it towards her.
This is all just speculation, though, and there is no guarantee that there will actually be a rescue. For all readers know, “One Piece” Chapter 942 really could be the man’s last day. They’ll find out soon enough on May 12.
