The manga series “One Piece” is hitting a brief hiatus this week. But once it returns for “One Piece” chapter 913, fans might be seeing a new powerful sword used in combat while a potential new alliance could also be forged.
In the latest “One Piece” manga chapter, fans were taken back to four years ago in Wano. It was the time when Portgas D. Ace and his crew of pirates first set foot on the once beautiful country of Wano.
Before the release of “One Piece” chapter 913, fans finally understood how Wano’s villages were destroyed by Kaido and his vicious men. The creators of the manga series also revealed how Ace won the hearts of the people in Amigasa village. But Luffy’s late brother turned out to have made a close friend in the girl named Tama.
As the Wano arc continues in “One Piece” chapter 913, Luffy and a very sickly Tama will be on a journey to see a doctor. But since the wilderness of Wano is filled with its savage inhabitants, Luffy will have to prepare for a fight. Luckily, he was reunited with Zoro at the end of chapter 912.
Their reunion was suddenly stopped by the appearance of Basil Hawkins, who threatened Luffy and Zoro if they did not pledge allegiance to him. However, Zoro and Luffy are not ones to back down. With that, an action-packed fight is expected to be one of the highlights in “One Piece” chapter 913.
Fans who have read chapter 912 can also remember that Luffy “stole” the sword Nidai Kitetsu from Tama’s master, Tengu. The swordsmith did not permit Luffy to bring Nidai Kitetsu believing that it was cursed to bring death to whoever wields it. But “One Piece” chapter 913 spoilers have it that Zoro might be able to use the sword correctly in their fight against Basil Hawkins.
However, it is safe to say that Luffy’s biggest enemy right now is not Basil Hawkins. After hearing what Kaido had done to the people of Wano, these characters might be sharing the same goal of defeating Kaido. This then opens up a possibility for a new alliance between Basil Hawkins and Luffy to be established in “One Piece” chapter 913.
As mentioned, “One Piece” chapter 913 will be delayed for a week. Fans will then be able to read the next events in the Wano arc on Monday, Aug. 6.
