The upcoming “One Piece” chapter 913 is another exciting manga release with a plot focused on Zoro. There is a big chance that Zoro will be using a new and upgraded sword. But there is a catch: the sword is cursed.
At the end of the previous manga chapter, Luffy and Tama journeyed through the dangerous Wano country to see a doctor. While on their way, they saw a swordsman fighting bad guys, who turned out to be Zoro.
Luffy and Zoro’s reunion is definitely going to be a huge part of “One Piece” chapter 913. The end of the previous chapter also showed the arrival of Basil Hawkins. The latest events in the manga series suggest that Luffy and Zoro are going to battle with Basil Hawkins.
Before the fight begins in “One Piece” chapter 913, it is likely that Luffy will be giving Zoro the sword that he technically stole from Tengu, a sword maker and Tama’s master. It can be recalled that while preparing to disguise himself before bringing Tama to a doctor, Luffy saw the Nidai Kitetsu sword. However, Tengu was against the idea of letting Luffy bring the sword with him. Tengu insisted that the Nidai Kitetsu carries a curse that may lead to the death of whoever uses it.
Despite Tengu’s warnings, Luffy brought the sword with him, and manga fans might be seeing it in action in “One Piece” chapter 913. Though the curse of death is terrifying, it can be recalled that Zoro already owned a sword, the Sandai Kitetsu, that came from the same line as the Nidai Kitetsu.
However, fans may also remember that Zoro had been successfully using the Sandai Kitetsu and the swordsman may have possibly overcome the curse with his luck. So fans can expect that once Luffy shows Zoro the Nidai Kitetsu in “One Piece” chapter 913, the swordsman is unlikely to hesitate about using a much better weapon.
On the other hand, fans might not be seeing Zoro using his new sword in full swing in “One Piece” chapter 913. Many fans believe that Basil Hawkins does not really want to fight Luffy and Zoro. Instead, he could be asking them to be his allies in his plans of overthrowing Kaido.
After a meaningful chapter that looked back to Portgas D. Ace’s journey in Wano, fans will have to wait much longer before “One Piece” chapter 913 arrives. Creators announced a one-week hiatus, which means “One Piece” chapter 913 will be officially released on Monday, Aug. 6.
