‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 7, entitled “Heartless”, will follow the Evil Queen as she demands for Snow and David to give up their hearts. She threatens them with the destruction of Storybrooke unless her demands are met.
The synopsis for episode 7 posted on Carter Matt stated, “In a flashback to the Enchanted Forest, Bandit Snow dodges a bounty hunter known as the Woodcutter while shepherd David goes on a fateful journey to sell his family’s farm.
In Storybrooke, the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) threatens to destroy the town and everyone in it unless Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David (Josh Dallas) surrender their hearts. As Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) prepare to defend Storybrooke, Snow, David and Regina search for a magical sapling created by the first spark of true love. Regina uses Gold’s (Robert Carlyle) and the Evil Queen’s burgeoning romance against them, and Zelena (Rebecca Mader) offers Belle (Emilie de Ravin) some friendly advice.”
The incoming episode’s promo opened with Snow and her allies and friends studying a simple bottle filled with a mysterious dark substance. It was revealed that the bottle holds the power to destroy all of Storybrooke. It was also teased that the Evil Queen plans to blackmail Snow and David into giving her what she wants or else she would wipe out the small town and all its residents.
When Snow asks about an object that looks to be a human heart, the Evil Queen replied, “You have 12 hours to figure it out.” While Snow, David, and Regina go on a search for a magic sapling, Emma, Hook and Henry race against time to save Storybrooke.
By the end of the promo, the Evil Queen smirks and says, “See you at the cemetery soon enough... it’s a good place for endings,” before disappearing in a puff of smoke. It would be interesting to see how the major characters could pull off not having to surrender their hearts to the villainess. Surely, they would be putting up a good fight.
Meanwhile, promotional photographs for the incoming episode posted on Showbiz Junkies showed Snow and her allies looking quite grim. One image featured Regina holding up the mysterious bottle, presumably pondering on what to do next, as Snow and David look on.
‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 7, entitled “Heartless”, is scheduled to premiere on ABC on November 6, 2016. It was directed by Ralph Hemecker and written by Jane Espenson.
