‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6, Episode 10 Spoilers: "Wish You Were Here" – Emma’s Fate Changes After Wishing to Stop Being Savior

‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 10, entitled "Wish You Were Here,” will follow Emma wishing that she never became a Savior. When the Evil Queen throws her wish back at her, Emma’s fate and past changes drastically.

The synopsis for the winter finale posted on Den of Geek reads, “When she learns that our heroes possess a weapon capable of defeating her, the Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) steals Aladdin’s (Deniz Akdeniz) magic lamp from Jasmine (Karen David) and makes a wish that could sideline the Savior forever.

Unwilling to wake Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) while Emma(Jennifer Morrison) is missing, David (Josh Dallas) works with Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) to hold the Evil Queen at bay in Storybrooke as Regina goes on a rogue rescue mission.

Meanwhile, Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) face a surprising danger to their newborn son.”

The series winter finale is bound to make a bold shift in the storyline after its main protagonist Emma finds herself denouncing her title as savior. In the promo for episode 10, Emma looks downtrodden and says, “I wish I never became a savior.”

In the next scene, Emma arrives in a diner together with Hook and David to find Jasmine bound to a chair as the Evil Queen and Aladdin stand beside her. The villainess then orders, “I wish Emma Swan’s wish be granted.” Although Emma tries to stop her, Aladdin uses his powers to make Emma disappear.

It seems that Emma’s wish has forced a change in her fate as well as her past. Regina finds a nearly unrecognizable Emma prancing around in a forest picking flowers and having no care in the world. She asks in surprise, “Emma? What the hell happened to you?”

By the end of the promo, the Evil Queen warns, “You can’t undo wishes.” It would be interesting to see the consequences of Emma’s departure as Savior in the new episode.

According to Broadway World, guest stars include Tracy as Mother Superior/Blue Fairy, Beverley Elliott as Granny, David Avalon as Doc, Lee Arenberg as Leroy/Grumpy, Keegan Connor Gabe Khouth as Mr. Clark/Sneezy, Faustino Di Bauda as Sleepy, Mig Macario as Bashful, Geoff Gustafson as Stealthy, and Giles Matthey as Gideon.

‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 10, entitled "Wish You Were Here,” is scheduled to premiere on ABC on December 4, 2016. It was directed by Ron Underwood and written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. It will be followed by episode 11, entitled "Tougher Than the Rest", scheduled for 2017.
