The team behind the hit TV series ‘Once Upon A Time’ surely knows how to keep their fans satisfied and happy judging from how well their recent episode was. Episode 14 titled “Devil’s Due” picked up where they last ended when Emma and the gang are still on a mission on rescuing Hook. So here is a recap of last week’s episode. Warning: Spoilers ahead!
We were gifted with an intense ending last week when Hook was staring into three graves on which Hades has determined will house the forever lost souls of the three friends that get to stay in the Underworld, to even out every lucky soul that gets to leave. Hook, the strong-willed person that he is, strongly refused which led to Hades condemning him to the River of Lost Souls to make him suffer more.
Emma, on the other hand, planned on rescuing Hook by going directly to Hades’ lair which Rumple thinks is the worst idea. He proposes that he and Emma go instead because Rumple can get living souls by Hades using a dead person’s aura. And by dead person he means his ex-wife Milah.
Milah was not happy seeing Rumple and refused to help. What’s even worse is the fact that the person they are going to rescue is Milah’s ex-boyfriend and Emma’s current boyfriend who is also the ex-girlfriend of their son Baelfire. Awkward, right?
Good thing Milah was very understanding and have moved on. When Emma explained to her the story, Milah suddenly becomes sympathetic toward Emma and offers to go with her to Hades.
There were also flashbacks shown throughout the episode which explains the history between Hook and Milah.
Back to the present, Hades saw Rumple in the River of Souls and stroke a deal with him. He offered Rumple a way out the Underworld by making Rumple sink the ship (which was their only way out, by the way).
Meanwhile, Hook was rescued and Hades sank the ship himself. It was a mission success but the happiness was shortly lived when the team found out that Hades chose Emma, Regina, and Snow to remain in the Underworld as a payment of the three souls they helped. Another shocking revelation.
It was a very intense episode for everyone. So what is your favourite part? Comment them below.
