BURLINGTON, Mass., Oct. 23, 2017 -- Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN) today announced it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit in the U.S. Federal District Court of Delaware against M*Modal. The lawsuit alleges that M*Modal products violate six Nuance patents related to speech recognition, computer-assisted physician documentation and transcription technology applied in the healthcare IT market. This lawsuit is based on U.S. Patent nos. 9,564,126; 8,117,034; 7,379,946; 6,999,933; 6,766,295; and 6,308,158.
