HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 04, 2017 -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (BSEG) is proud to announce its participation with the new Marianas International Film Festival to be held from December 6 to December 8, 2017 in Saipan, Marianas Islands.

Films must be a minimum of 60 minutes long. The deadline for film submissions is September 30, 2017.
The Marianas International Film Festival aims to promote unity, harmony and peace. As a new film festival, the festival is looking for originality and unique voices from filmmakers.
Awards will be given out for best film, grand jury prize, best director, screenplay, actor, actress, cinematography, film editing, technical achievement, original song and best new director, actor and actress.
The festival is designed to support young filmmakers with a panel of experienced judges to screen each film submission and screenplay.
Nominees will be with provided an airline ticket to the festival and accommodations.
In addition to the festival, International filmmakers will also be invited to attend seminars and forums conducted by professionals from the entertainment industry during the festival.
The kickoff ceremony for the Marianas International Film Festival was held in China at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Shanghai on June 24, 2017 with prominent filmmakers in attendance.
The attendees included: Mr. Yang Buting, Chairman - China Film Group Corp., honorary Chairman of Marianas International Film Festival, Kim Dong Ho, former secretary of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Founder of Busan International Film Festival, screenwriter Max Borenstein (“Godzilla,” “Kong: Skull Island”) and BSEG’s CEO, Film Producer, Kimberley Kates.
Other guests: Ng See Yuen – President - Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers, honorary Chairman - Hong Kong Film Director’s Guild and Chairman of Mariana International Film Festival, Li Qian Kuan, former Chairman of the China Film Association and co-Chairman of Marianas International Film Festival.
Organizers of the festival intend the Mariana International Film Festival to become a well-known film festival in years to come.

Marianas International Film Festival will be held in December 2017. No fee is charged for submitting films. The film festival is scheduled to be held in Saipan for a period of three days. There will be an opening ceremony, screenings, forums, red carpet awards, awards ceremony and closing ceremony dinner.
