Net Health Client Awarded Top Honor by the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA)

PITTSBURGH, April 26, 2016 -- Net Health, the leader in software solutions for specialized outpatient care, is pleased to recognize our Los Angeles-based client, Reliant Immediate Care Medical Group, for outstanding achievement in service to its community. In addition to being a client, Reliant is represented on Net Health's Agility Software Advisory Board—an industry leadership collective that provides expertise and recommendations for the development of Agility Software, a certified EHR that services occupational medicine, urgent care, and workplace health facilities as well as hospital employee health management.

Reliant's Medical Director, Max Lebow, MD, MPH, MBA, FACEP, FACPM, accepted the 2016 Community Service Award from the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA) for his work to improve air travel for persons with disabilities. The annual award honors a UCAOA member (individual or organization) that has made a positive impact on the health of their local community.

Dr. Lebow was recognized for his advocacy making air travel more accessible to travelers with disabilities and for his many years of service to communities in which he has practiced. Previous accolades include recognition by the cities of Los Angeles and Inglewood, California, for positive impact by improving quality and access to health care services.

As an industry expert and founder of the largest urgent care center in southern California, Dr. Lebow was recently featured in a National Public Radio (NPR) report on the surge in growth of U.S. urgent care centers. He told NPR that much of this industry development has been fueled by the significant consumer savings that urgent care centers provide over hospital emergency department care. In fact, many insurance organizations now encourage their customers to utilize urgent care centers for appropriate non-life threatening medical problems.

Lebow credits Net Health's Agility EHR with creating the efficiency that allows urgent care centers to be cost effective, convenient, and thereby more attractive to patients with minor illness or injuries that don't require typical hospital emergency room care.

Dr. Lebow shared that Reliant Immediate Care is expanding its presence to a third location in the community, "We're excited to announce the May opening of our newest urgent care center in downtown LA, near the Staples Center. That facility will use Agility software and partner with Net Health as we do at our existing locations."
