NEAR Protocol (NEAR) has gained significant momentum in the cryptocurrency market, with its price climbing approximately 11% over the past week and briefly reaching $6.00 on Binance. Despite retreating from that level, NEAR remains near $5.64, recording a nearly 5% increase over the past 24 hours.

The latest NEAR price rally has attracted substantial trading activity. Daily trading volume surged 98.44% to $3.54 billion, signaling renewed investor interest and stronger market participation.

The cryptocurrency's recent performance reflects an impressive recovery from its summer trading range. Throughout July and August, NEAR largely traded between $1.55 and $1.80 before beginning a sustained upward movement in late August.

Momentum accelerated in mid-September when NEAR broke above $3.60 within days. Since its summer lows, the token has more than tripled in value, establishing a strong bullish trend despite occasional corrections.

In early October, NEAR experienced a sharp decline toward $4.30. However, buyers quickly returned, pushing prices higher within days. This recovery suggests that investors remain willing to accumulate the cryptocurrency during market pullbacks.

Technical indicators continue to support a positive NEAR price outlook. Daily moving averages are trending upward, while the token trades comfortably above these indicators.

Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands near 65, indicating strong buying momentum without entering the traditionally overbought territory above 70.

For traders monitoring NEAR Protocol price predictions, the immediate resistance level remains $6.00. A confirmed daily close above this threshold could create opportunities for further gains and potentially new highs.

On the downside, the $5.40–$5.60 range represents the nearest support zone, followed by stronger support around $4.60 and $3.90.

However, trading volume remains an important factor. Although recent activity nearly doubled, chart volume has not consistently matched the elevated levels recorded during September's major rally.

Sustained buying pressure will be necessary to maintain the bullish momentum and support another potential breakout.

With NEAR ranking eighth in the referenced market data and investor attention increasing, the coming trading sessions could determine whether the latest volume surge develops into another sustained rally or fades into a temporary price spike.
