The upcoming “My Hero Academia” chapter 279 will continue from the time that Gigantomachia is approaching the city and the UA students are trying their best to hold him off to protect everyone. Momo Yaoyorozu who is also known as Creati will play a big role in this battle and she is at risk of being killed as she leads the students.
Recap
In the previous “My Hero Academia” chapter 278 titled “Disaster Walker,” it showed Gigantomachia meeting and facing Mt. Lady. While they were standing face to face, the other villains were hiding from the former’s back. At this point, the bad ones also came to realized that their powerful ally Shigaraki is not yet 100 percent complete for he was woken up prematurely.
Re-Destro was in a battle with Edgeshot when he noticed the Giant and it hit him that Shigaraki has come. He got so mad after learning that their leader is under attack and was put in danger when he was forced to wake up, making him incomplete. At this point, he asked his followers to start a mutiny.
Midnight trie to get closer to Gigantomachia who just threw Mt. Lady away. She now knows that the heroes at Jaku may have failed with their mission so now she must stop the giant before it can approach and destroy the city. However, she was attacked by Dabi and was injured so her only option was to call Creati.
When Midnight was not yet injured her original plan was to sedate the giant and put him to sleep but she could not make it now and it is all up to Momo if this plan will still work. But sadly, Midnight was attacked again by the other villains and lost contact with Creati.
My Hero Academia Chapter 279 Spoilers:
The story will continue in “My Hero Academia” chapter 279 and first and foremost, Midnight’s fate would be revealed. She was attacked by a bunch of villains and Momo was not able to contact her anymore so it is possible that she could have died at this point.
Then again, for some twist in “My hero Academia” chapter 279, somebody could have arrived to rescue her from the Liberation army. The UA students have also been deployed to protect the city and they could get involved in a battle in the upcoming episode with Momo leading them.
Fans will also see if Momo was able to sedate the giant but she is most likely to succeed especially if the students are backing her up.

“My Hero Academia” chapter 279 was scheduled to arrive on Aug. 2, as per Manga PLUS. The raw scans will be out in advance between July 29 to 31.
