The fight between the league of villains and the quirk liberation army is still ongoing, and it would appear that Shigaraki’s forces are rallying despite being outnumbered. It’s clear from the previous episode that Toga and the rest of her group mates still have some aces up their sleeves. Then there’s the matter of Gigantomachia who might just fight Re-Destro in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 227.
The reason why Shigaraki was so eager to answer the challenge of the QLA was simply so that Gigantomachia would have other enemies to occupy him instead of just the league. It became clear from their fight that the league still can’t match up to the giant. Re-Destro has yet to make his move, as well, OtakuKart reports, but this may change in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 227.
If Gigantomachia wakes up in the middle of the melee, he will jump in to destroy pretty much anyone in his way in order to reach Shigaraki. All the leader of the league has to do is take the giant around a merry chase and eliminating enemies all the while. Seeing his forces decimated, Re-Destro might step off from his lofty perch in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 227.
This would be a good opportunity to see just how powerful the leader of the QLA is. So far, all he has done is talk, so this would be a good chance to see if he can take on someone like Gigantomachia. If he is able to match or even surpass the league’s greatest weapon, it will prove the QLA’s supremacy. Of course, this would need to happen in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 227 first.
With the manga being delayed, “My Hero Academia” Chapter 227 will not be coming out next week. Instead, fans will be able to read the next chapter on May 13.
