Based on raw scans of “My Hero Academia” Chapter 202, fans now have an idea of what to expect when the chapter finally comes out. It would seem that the damage done to Tokoyami after being attacked with the mushroom quirk was quite serious. Even though the injury was sustained during a practice match, Shinso commented that the attack might have been intentionally hostile.
Thanks to the efforts of Anime Hound, the gist of what the raw scans of “My Hero Academia” Chapter 202 has been revealed. It would appear that the next match between 1A and 1B has been moved to another location due to the damage that the previous arena had sustained. That many mushrooms are not going to be easy to clear out, after all.
Speaking of the mushrooms, it’s clear in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 202 that Tokoyami had sustained massive damage due to the attack. He had to be treated by Recovery Girl, who had often only really needed to bother with Midoriya and Bakugo, so far. It would appear that the harm caused by the attack from 1B’s girl with the mushroom quirk was bad enough for even Shinso to comment about it.
As a result, “My Hero Academia” Chapter 202 will see Eraserhead and Vladking issue a warning that this type of injury should be avoided in future matches. Although the students are technically opponents as they fight, intentionally crippling fellow UA pupils is not the goal.
Other than Tokoyami’s condition, however, several other developments were also revealed in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 202. As OtakuKart notes, the next match will include Todoroki, Iida, Ojiro, and Shoji from 1A. 1B will be composed of Tetsu Tetsu, Kaibara, Tsunotori, and Honenuki, the last one of whom is actually recommended for entrance to UA, similar to Todoroki and Yaoyorozu.
“My Hero Academia” Chapter 202 will be released on Oct. 13. Fans are encouraged to read it at official portals.
