One of Netflix’s favorite crime drama is coming. The streaming provider giant has no announcement about the “Money Heist” season 5’s renewal, but everything is pointing to the fact that the series is coming back.
The latest update on the show’s return - Is it confirmed?
The most telling sign that “Money Heist” season 5 is happening was the show creator’s latest social media update. In his post earlier this week, he just presented solid evidence that fans will see the next installment of crime drama.
On July 10, Pina uploaded a picture of himself, and at first look, he seems to be on a break and relaxing in a resort. However, checking the image closely, everyone will see that he is actually in the office of Vancouver Media, a Spanish media group that he founded in 2016.
He was sitting on a hammock, but he has his laptop with him. Based on the caption, he was writing the story for “Money Heist” season 5. His original words were written in Spanish, which reads: “Escribiendo La Casa de Papel 5.” In English, it simply means “Writing ‘Money Heist 5.’”
Apparently, this is enough to confirm the return of “Money Heist” season 5 despite the lack of update from Netlfix. Since Pina is still in the process of writing the story and there are still lots of things to do once it’s done, it is possible that filming may not take place this year.
Plot twist prediction
The upcoming fifth season of “Money Heist” was predicted to have a gloomy ending. This is because it was suggested that everyone in the team will die. This scenario is possible since the fourth season ended with the thieves trapped in the Bank of Spain with the police surrounding them.
Now, there was a prediction that only Tokyo (Ursula Corbero) will be making out alive, which is an unfortunate thing. However, a new prediction surfaced and some avid fans of the show suggest that rather than Tokyo, El Professor will be the only survivor in “Money Heist” season 5.
As per Express, fans discussed this turnout via Reddit and they mentioned key points that made them think El Professor will live while everyone else will die. They said that since he is the main character, he will be able to escape in case their plan inside the bank fails.
Then again, the actual outcome in “Money Heist” season 5 will all depend on Alex Pina’s story writing. Meanwhile, this drama is predicted to be released in late 2021 or early 2022 since filming may only start early next year.
