The renewal of “Money Heist” season 5 was finally announced more than a week ago. This was really good news as the viewers were really waiting for this as the story of El Professor and his gang is getting more intense.
Hint about the finale and renewal announcement
“Money Heist” season 5 was confirmed late last month after the show posted a photo on its official Facebook page. But then again, fans were puzzled by the caption and photo that was used to announce the renewal.
It seems that Netflix is also ending “Money Heist” after five seasons. On July 31, a picture of the popular heist mask lies on the dirt and there’s a huge crack on it. The caption also reads: “Part 5: The heist comes to an end” so the assumption is that it will all be over once the fifth installment concludes.
Netflix has not explained what this means or release a statement about the wrapping up of the drama after “Money Heist” season 5. However, there is a big chance that it has really reached the end already.
Filming has resumed
In any case, while everyone waits for any announcement regarding the series’ finale, fans should just focus on the fifth season first. There is also a piece of happy news because it was reported that the cast members have returned to the set to film.
In particular, it was mentioned that Ursula Corbero (Tokyo) and Pedro Alonso (Berlin) were spotted shooting for “Money Heist” season 5. Also, The Indian Express reported that Corbero also posted something in her Instagram stories and her update confirmed she has returned to the filming set.
“Today, Tokio is back,” she simply wrote. “Wish me luck.”
El Professor’s new nemesis has come
The Express reported that El Professor has a new rival and the viewers will see him in “Money Heist” season 5. There are guesses that this is one of the two new cast additions that were revealed by show creator Alex Pina.
Based on the hints, it was suggested that the new enemy could be Miguel Ángel Silvestre or Patrick Criado. The two were confirmed to be joining the lineup for the fifth installment. El Professor’s new enemy is a police officer who is crafty like the leader of the thieves.
