The previous episode of “Mob Psycho 100” shocked a lot of viewers with the sharp left turn that the anime took in killing off Mob’s entire family. The show’s protagonist essentially walked into a blazing inferno engulfing his home only to find his parents and brother dead on the floor. This is being taken as a declaration of war by Claw with its attack in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 9.
As Comic Book notes, “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 9 should help viewers feel more at ease after getting the shock of a lifetime. Mob’s parents are not actually dead, with the corpses simply being faked. Dimple convinces the psychic of this, thus allowing the powerful character to control his overwhelming power. However, this then prompts Mob to go hunting.
Just in time, as well, because Claw will finally come out of the shadows to declare its intention to dominate the world in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 9. Suffice it to say, there is going to be quite a few combat scenes in the upcoming episodes, ultimately culminating in Mob being the one to take on the organization’s leader.
As for who left the corpses and burned Mob’s house to the ground, it’s none other than the son of the leader of Claw. His intentions are far from what viewers might expect, however, with the young psychic actually hoping to stop his father’s ambitions. He will need Mob’s help to do so, thus the reason for why he had to trigger the protagonist’s abilities in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 9.
So, when can viewers watch events unfold in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 9? The episode is scheduled to air on March 4 and fans are encouraged to watch the anime via officially licensed portals.
