The second episode of “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 was undoubtedly hilarious, full of the same goofy charm that pleased fans when the second season premiered. In “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 3, this trend will continue but a more serious theme will also be featured. There will be a matter of a curse, horrible clients, and Mob becoming angry on behalf of ghosts.
As TheAnimeScrolls notes on its coverage of the previous episode of the anime, the theme of urban legends coming to life helped set the lighter tone that fans can expect from the show. However, “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 3 will kick things up to a higher gear in several ways. For starters, there will be a client who will ask Reigen to put a curse on someone.
Naturally, the fake psychic will refuse because of his obvious inability to do so and because he does not offer such services, to begin with. His next clients have a more legitimate request in accompanying them while visiting a supposedly haunted house. This is where “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 3 will take a darker turn.
During their first visit, the clients will basically betray Mob and Reigen by not paying them and refusing to give them a ride back into town. These clients eventually return because of how the managed to snap a picture of some ghosts living in the house. They want those ghosts eliminated but the problem is that they are not evil. Mob will then be put in a pickle in “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 3.
Reigen will ask him to exorcize the ghosts but Mob will refuse on the grounds that they don’t deserve to be harmed. The clients will insist and his boss will initially push Mob, as well. However, Reigen will eventually realize that he would do more harm than good if he compelled his young companion to obey. This conflict of ideals is what will make “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 3 worth seeing most.
As for when viewers can watch “Mob Psycho 100” Season 2 Episode 3, the segment will air on Jan. 22. Fans will definitely want to watch out for this one.
