Mister Donut, Japan's beloved donut brand, is introducing its first-ever instant ramen, the Shiro Soba, celebrating 30 years of dim sum. This limited-time offering brings restaurant-quality soup soba to homes across Japan.
Mister Donut is now making instant cup noodles, and as per SoraNews24, it was developed to mark the 30th anniversary of dim sum. The new product is now a subset option of the chain's yum cha/dim sum menu.
The coffee and bakery brand is launching the Mister Donut Shiro Soba instant ramen in a cup. It has been described as a simple but satisfying ramen that uses thin noodles and is flavored with tasty chicken stock broth, which is said to be "Misudo-like."
With this instant cup noodle product, customers can enjoy soup soba in their homes, too, since Mister Donut only serves ramen in its stores. Previously, the donut chain's take-out items were baked goodies, and ramen was for dine-in only.
What Mister Donut Cup Noodles Is Made Of
Huffington Post Japan reported that the new instant soup soba in a cup contains donut-shaped gluten, making the ramen a typical Mister Donut menu. Customers will only find this ingredient in store-bought soup soba but in the chain's cup noodles.
"By using non-fried noodles, you can enjoy the chewiness of raw noodles and the thin noodles of soup soba," part of the ramen's product description reads. "The chicken-based soup is simple but flavorful, and goes perfectly with the noodles."
Mister Donut Misudo Shiro Soba Release Date and Price
The new instant cup ramen is set to be released on Oct. 11 and will be available in Mister Donut stores across Japan. It will only be sold for a limited time and will be on the menu until supplies last. Customers may get the new product for 270 yen, around US$1.85.
